The game of Texas Hold'em

In the beginning was the Italian poker, the player with 5 cards and the ability to change up to four. Then a young man, Chris Moneymaker, won the World Series of Poker, you play in the specialties of Texas Hold'em, and it was the explosion. Chris was a player who came from the game on the internet, and had beaten all the samples of Texas Hold'em.

The rules of Texas Hold'em

For each hand, two players make a forced bet, called the dark: the small blind places a digit, and the big blind makes it a double. Then each player is dealt two cards face down, and from player to the left of the big blind starts the action, he, like any other player, decide to see the big blind bet, a raise or fold.

After all players have spoken, and there are no more raises, will turn over three community cards (the flop). Before the fourth card (the turn) there is a betting round like the first two. Then, before the fifth card (the river) there is another round of betting. Even after the river there is a betting round, the last one: at this point whether there are still a couple of players on hand goes to showdown to determine the winning hand.

Modes

Texas Hold'em has great variety of game. You can play the Sit & Go tournaments where the number of participants does not exceed a few tens (and the few tables, usually two or three). You can play Multi-Table tournament, where the number of participants is much broader: it can get, in fact, even the hundreds and thousands of units. You can play Team Heads up: here challenge only two players against each other, and it goes on until one of you has the most chips.

Regarding the buy-in, it is difficult to quantify. The cost of entry, in fact, ranging from a few cents to the thousand.
